Flying cars! Cadman Cranes assist with classic car lift

When a local resident just down the road from our HQ in Colchester, Essex, needed some assistance shifting a classic car from his mother’s garage to the front of her house, we couldn’t say no.

Gavin’s classic Mercedes 190E belonged to his father who sadly passed away, but had been sitting in the family garage for nearly 10 years! Gavin has plans to fix up the car, but as his mother prepares to move house they were keen to get access first which was impossible due to the way the driveway was built.

We were very happy to help out Gavin and his mother and attended site with one of our Böcker AK46/6000 mobile truck cranes, along with a specialist car transportation net, safely and successfully lifting the car up and over the house and onto the driveway safely.
